All members and friends are invited to join the full-time missionaries for a class and discussion on basic principles of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ.


Stake Relief Society conference

Saturday 3 June 4.00–8.00pm

All women ages 18 and older are invited to attend. The conference will feature a main session, dinner, workshops, and a service project making hygiene kits for the homeless. Sunday attire is recommended.


Ward service project: Bishop’s storehouse delivery

Saturday 10 June ▪ 9.30am

Volunteers from the Jamaica 1st Ward are needed to help fill food orders for families in need in the Lynbrook New York Stake. All food and other supplies are provided. May require moderate lifting. Volunteers should expect the process to take 1½–2 hours. For more information and to volunteer, visit jamaica1stward.org/storehouse


Protecting Children and Youth training

If you are called to work with those under 18, you must complete the church’s course on protecting children and youth from all forms of abuse. The training must be reviewed every three years. If you are overdue, please finish it by 31 May 2023 on the church’s website.
