“I Am a Disciple of Jesus Christ”: Annual kickoff event for youth and their families

Cultural hall
TodaySunday 28 January ▪ 1.15pm

Youth and their families are invited for an annual kickoff event that will include brief talks, refreshments, and watching a worldwide event for youth featuring Elder Gary E. Stevenson of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, Young Men general president Steven J. Lund, and Young Women general president Emily Belle Freeman. We will be joined by the Jamaica 2nd and Little Neck wards.


Ward family history fair

Saturday 10 February ▪ 4.00pm

All ward members and friends are invited. There will be workshops on using FamilySearch, building a four-generation chart, finding records in Caribbean countries — including in Haiti, with a workshop in Haitian Creole — and indexing. Those who need to set up a Church Account to access online church resources should arrive at 3.30pm.
