How to watch or listen
Here is a list of ways to watch or listen to general conference live, or later if you miss a session this weekend.
We will not be showing sessions of general conference in our church building. However, Elder Roskelley and Elder Triplett, the Haitian Creoleโspeaking full-time missionaries serving in our ward, are working to organize a viewing session for Haitian members. If you are interested in participating, reach out to them for more details.
Other general conference resources
What is general conference?
General conference is the global gathering of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It takes place twice a year, in April and October. The five conference sessions take place at the Conference Center at church headquarters in Salt Lake City, Utah, and are broadcast around the world via satellite, the internet, TV, and radio.
General conference is an opportunity for everyone to hear modern prophets and apostles speak, including President Russell M. Nelson and members of the First Presidency and the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, as well as other general authorities and worldwide church leaders. They โwill share messages of the gospel of Jesus Christ. โฆ General conference provides an opportunity to receive personal revelation as living prophets and other general Church leaders give counsel and direction,โ as the First Presidency recently wrote.

An invitation
I invite all members of the Jamaica 1st Ward to participate in as much of general conference as possible with their families. I know we will all be blessed if we listen to and heed the teachings of living prophets and apostles as they point us to follow Jesus Christ and his gospel.
Sincerely,
Dustin Tyler Joyce
