ANNOUNCEMENTS

Building cleaning

Throughout July

In July it will once again be our ward’s turn to help keep our church building clean. We invite all members to participate in at least one cleaning session throughout the month. Signup sheets will be passed around in second-hour meetings. For more information and to volunteer, see the enclosed flyer or visit jamaica1stward.org/cleaning

Lost & found

Bishop’s office

Find something someone left behind in our building? Did you misplace a personal belonging? Drop off found items — or look for lost items — in the bishop’s office.

Donate plants to our street beautification project

Members of the Jamaica 1st and 2nd wards are working to clean and beautify 163rd Street in front of our church building. To support this effort, we invite ward members to donate plants that we can place in the planter boxes along the sidewalk. For more information and to learn what and how to donate, please contact Sister Barbara Gordon.

Gospel principles class

Chapel (2nd floor)
Wednesdays 6.30pm

All members and friends are invited to join the full-time missionaries for a class and discussion on basic principles of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ.
