Building cleaning and block cleanup and beautification in September 2023

Dear brothers and sisters,

In September it will once again be our ward’s opportunity to clean our church building. Cleaning sessions will take place these days and times throughout the month:

Saturday 2 September ▪ 9.00am
Friday 8 September ▪ 6.00pm
Saturday 16 September ▪ 9.00am
Friday 22 September ▪ 6.00pm
Friday 29 September ▪ 6.00pm

We invite all ward members to participate in at least one cleaning session during the month.

While you are welcome simply to show up at any cleaning session, we encourage you to sign up to participate in one or more sessions. This will allow us to reach out via text or other means to remind you of the session. You may sign up on the forms passed around during second-hour meetings. Block cleanup and beautification

During the building cleaning session on Saturday 2 September, we will also continue our project to clean and beautify 163rd Street in front of our church building. In addition to being a service project for ward members, this is also an opportunity to involve friends, neighbors, and other community members in an effort to serve our neighborhood. We invite you to share information about this effort by sharing the project page we have created on the church’s JustServe website.
