Building cleaning

In September it will once again be our ward’s turn to help keep our church building clean. We invite all members to participate in at least one cleaning session throughout the month. Tithing declaration
Starting Sunday 3 September
Tithing declaration is an opportunity to meet with the bishop and review your tithing and other church records. All members should plan to participate. More information will be sent out soon. In the meantime, you are invited to set an appointment for tithing declaration at jamaica1stward.org/appointments

Volunteers from the Jamaica 1st Ward are needed to help fill food orders for families in need in the Lynbrook New York Stake. All food and other supplies are provided. May require moderate lifting. Stake service project and campout
Camp Liahona
Friday 20 October: Overnight campout begins

Members of the Lynbrook stake are invited to help clean and prepare Camp Liahona for the winter. Members who would like are welcome to camp out starting the evening before.
