Church history walking tour
Saturday 27 September โช 10.00am (weather permitting)
Starting from City Hall Park, Manhattan
This semiannual tour will cover some of the earliest sites of LDS history in the New York region, including:
- Martin Harrisโ 1828 visit to Charles Anton
- Joseph Smithโs 1832 visit to New York City
- The sailing of about 240 LDS saints on one of the worldโs longest religious voyages in 1846
The tour covers the New York areaโs role in Latter-day Saint history from 1828 through 1858. The brochure for this tour (PDF) gives an overview of the tour and provides other details, such as the tour’s length.
So that we know we have enough tour guides and brochures, we ask that those attending to submit an RSVP to
