When considering whether you and your family should attend in person, please note the current recommendation from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC):
COVID-19 Cases are Extremely High. Avoid Events and Gatherings
COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations, and deaths are extremely high across the United States. To decrease your chance of getting and spreading COVID-19, CDC recommends that you do not gather with people who do not live with you at this time. Attending events and gatherings increases your risk of getting and spreading COVID-19. Stay home to protect yourself and others from COVID-19.
Register to attend
Reserve seats ahead of time for sacrament meeting. Building capacity is limited to no more than 50 people. If no seats are available, please assume we are at capacity; do not attend without reserving seats first.
⚠️ Remember to reserve a seat for yourself and EVERYONE who will attend with you, including babies and small children.
While attending in person you must —
- wear a mask or face covering over both your nose and mouth in all areas in the building at all times, except when partaking of the sacrament or giving a talk, testimony, or prayer.
- maintain physical distancing and remain at least 6 feet (2 meters) apart from those outside your immediate family or household. Refrain from shaking hands and hugging.
- not linger in the chapel after the meeting.
We recommend you not attend in person if you —
- are 65 years of age or older.
- have a medical condition that places you at higher risk for a severe case of COVID-19.
- are uncomfortable with attending in person for any reason.
You MAY NOT attend in person if you —
- have not registered to attend ahead of time. While our ward has been given approval to expand capacity at our sacrament meetings, we are still limited to no more than 50 people in the entire building. If no seats are available, assume we are at capacity; do not attend without reserving seats first.
- are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 or have a fever above 99.5°F (37.5°C).
Additional reminders
- Seating in the chapel will be on alternating rows to allow for physical distancing and to permit those passing the sacrament to carry the trays to all attendees (rather than passing trays from person to person).
- Parents/guardians should get the sacrament for children younger than 8.
- Music will be prerecorded. Those in attendance should not sing out loud. If you would like to follow along with the text of the hymns, please do so in the Gospel Library or Sacred Music app.
- Restrooms are open. Sanitizing wipes will be placed in each restroom for those who would like to use them.
- While we will not be wiping down the pulpit between speakers, there will be wipes available and you will be welcome to wipe down the pulpit yourself if you are giving a talk, testimony, or prayer.
