Organizations

Much of the work of congregations of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including the Jamaica 1st Ward, is carried out through various organizations. These same organizations can be found in almost every Latter-day Saint congregation around the world. Most organizations usually meet twice a month. In these meetings, members teach each other the restored gospel of Jesus Christ, discuss how they can further the Lord’s work in our congregation and our community, and deepen their discipleship of the Savior.
