What is Sunday School?
The Jamaica 1st Ward has Sunday School classes for youth and adults, including classes in Haitian Creole and for new members and visitors. In these classes, volunteer church members teach lessons and lead discussions to help members and visitors alike draw closer to God by studying his word in the scriptures. Each year Sunday School classes focus on a different book of scripture accepted by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints:
Latter-day Saints all around the world follow the same basic Sunday School schedule, no matter where they are or what language they speak.
(Learn more about what we believe about the Bible and the Book of Mormon at ComeUntoChrist.org.)
